Wayan Vota is a digital development entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience using new and emerging technologies to accelerate the social and economic development of communities. He has created holistic, nationwide digital development programs in eleven countries across sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. He is the co-founder of the Technology Salon, which brings technology and development professionals together in 12 cities, and ICTworks, the blog-of-record for the ICT4D community.

Vota has held a number of senior positions in the development sector, including roles at FHI 360, Development Gateway, Inveneo, Mercy Corps, and the International Executive Service Corps, among others. He holds a BA in business administration from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, and an MBA from the George Washington University School of Business.
