Fatou Ndiaté Rachel Sarr Aw

MNCH/FP Technical Advisor, USAID MOMENTUM Safe Surgery in Family Planning and Obstetrics Project in Senegal

Fatou Rachel is a technical advisor in maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) and family planning at IntraHealth International. For the past eight years, she has provided technical assistance to various USAID projects, including expansion of high-impact MNCH and family planning practices at the ministry of health level, in programs, policies, and procedures, while integrating gender and youth. She is a medical doctor by training, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, with 15 years of experience in clinical practice, including eight years as lead in a regional referral maternity ward. She also has teaching experience at Thiès University in the Faculty of Medicine and in nursing and midwifery training institutions.
