Coalition Launches, Calls for US Leadership and Investment in Frontline Health Workers

Yesterday, IntraHealth International and 14 other global health organizations launched the Frontline Health Workers Coalition at the Kaiser Family Foundation in Washington, DC. More than 150 representatives of nongovernmental organizations, the US government, nonprofit organizations, and others participated in the event, which was moderated by Dee Dee Myers, managing director of the Glover Park Group and former White House press secretary for President Clinton.

IntraHealth Staff Publish in Journal Issue Dedicated to Global Health Workforce

World Population and Health published a journal issue dedicated to exploring the challenges faced by the global health workforce. Drawing on IntraHealth’s experiences addressing health workforce issues, several IntraHealth leaders and staff contributed.

Capacity<i>Plus</i> Offers Its First "Code Bounties" to the Global iHRIS Community

CapacityPlus recently began offering “code bounties” to engage more people in the global community that supports the iHRIS Suite of open source software for the health workforce.

These code bounties are small projects with narrow scopes of software development work and small monetary awards intended to incentivize more developers to contribute to advancing iHRIS.
