Meshack Ndolo

Former Kenya Country Director/Project Director, Capacity Kenya

A visionary strategist and skilled public health specialist, Meshack Ndolo leads IntraHealth International’s multi-project portfolio in Kenya, including two major projects funded by the US Agency for International Development. With over 25 years’ experience in institutional and systems strengthening, policy analysis, and strategic planning, Meshack has served in the health sector, in public administration, and economic planning, among other sectors. He has a deep understanding of and passion for health systems issues, public policy, leadership, and governance.

Meshack started his career as a health care provider. Eventually he became an advisor to Kenya’s Office of the President, to the prime minister, and to the National Treasury of Kenya on the topics of health, HIV/AIDS, and economic planning. He served as regional advisor to the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development and to East African Community on HIV/AIDS and economic planning. Meshack was one of the pioneers in establishing Kenya’s National AIDS Control Council. Meshack earned a master’s degree in public health from Cardiff University in Wales, United Kingdom, and from Nairobi University’s Nursing Sciences Department. In his free time, Meshack serves in several philanthropic initiatives.
