Annie Zulu Banda is Chief of Party for the USAID Leading Organizational Capacity and Localization Development (USAID LOCAL) project and leads IntraHealth’s Zambia country office. Banda is a Zambian development and public health professional with more than 25 years’ experience with large, complex projects funded by USAID, the EU, DfID, the UN, the Global Fund, and others. She is a recognized leader in engaging with government ministries, building public and private partnerships, facilitating organizational capacity-building, influencing policy development, and advocating for vulnerable populations, including speaking at the annual UN Commission on the Status of Women conference. Banda holds a Master’s of Science degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Economics.
