This partnership between the Medtronic Foundation and IntraHealth Interantional focuses on advocacy to increase global attention to and investment in the frontline health workforce as an essential strategy to addressing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) in low- and middle-income countries. The project includes developing and disseminating policy analyses assessing frontline health workers’ readiness to deliver high-quality NCD prevention and care services at major global health policy events and elevating the voice of frontline health workers in policy discussions through targeted training of frontline health workers around the world.
