Göran Tomson is a senior professor of international health systems research at Karolinska Institutet, an honorary guest professor at Shandong University in China, a board member at the China Centre for Health Development Studies at Peking University, a member of the Swedish Research Council´s Committee for Development Research, a member of the Norwegian and Netherland Research Councils’ Global Health Committees, chair of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee of the Alliance for Health Policy Systems  Research at the World Health Organization, and co-founder of the ReAct network to contain antibiotic resistance.
