Second Global Forum on Human Resources for Health

From January 25–29, delegates from IntraHealth and its global USAID-funded project CapacityPlus joined the global health workforce community at the Second Global Forum on Human Resources for Health/Prince Mahidol Award Conference 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand. Both were involved in planning this important international event.

Convened by the Global Health Workforce Alliance, the Prince Mahidol Award Conference, the World Health Organization, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the forum reviewed progress and renewed commitments to health workers in support of the Millennium Development Goals and universal access to health care.

Throughout the forum, IntraHealth and CapacityPlus shared a display table in the Marketplace area. Read The Guardian's advance coverage of the Forum to learn more, and return to this page for blogs and news by our staff in Bangkok.
