IntraHealth regularly seeks Consultants for short and long-term consulting work, including those that may arise through our proposal development process. Long- and short-term consultants play important roles on IntraHealth’s technical teams, providing additional expertise as needed. These are individuals with technical expertise in specific areas who work directly with IntraHealth overseas field project staff and national counterparts; they occasionally contribute to program activities in Chapel Hill, NC and Washington, DC.

We are currently accepting applications for a Web Features Consultant.

Consultants have graduate-level training and, usually, significant international experience, and have developed a depth of expertise in:

• Health workforce and systems strengthening
• Health worker training and performance
• eHealth solutions
• Maternal, newborn and child health
• Family planning and reproductive health
• HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis prevention, treatment and care
• Malaria prevention and treatment
• Gender Equality

Occasionally IntraHealth might advertise for consultancy openings when there is a particular need for exceptionally qualified individuals. IntraHealth also maintains a database of public health experts worldwide, which it refers to when seeking suitable candidates, often on short notice. The current database is updated regularly to include international public health professionals and other experts working in international development and that can be selected for various opportunities.
