From its office in Pretoria, IntraHealth coordinates the Southern Africa Human Capacity Development Coalition, a regional initiative to improve the delivery of HIV/AIDS and other health care services by strengthening the capacity of health workers, policy-makers and planners, educational institutions, communities, and families. Currently working in Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, and Swaziland, the coalition collaborates with national leaders from the public and private sectors to assess health workforce needs, build partnerships, and develop and implement practical and innovative solutions to strengthen services.
