For the Health of Women Health Workers

IntraHealth studied the implications of gender inequality, discrimination, and gender-based violence in the health workforce in several developing nations through the Capacity Project—a five-year initiative funded by USAID focusing on human resources for health in developing countries. The brief, Addressing Gender Inequality in Human Resources for Health, reviews how the Capacity Project addressed gender discrimination and inequality in HRH through its institutional mechanisms, approaches and tools as well as in country-level implementation.
