Rich Katz

Rich KatzRich Katz has served as executive vice president, finance and corporate development, and chief financial officer of Icagen, a Research Triangle Park-based biotechnology company, from 2001 until the sale of the company in 2011. Prior to joining Icagen, he was a vice president in the healthcare group of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs. Katz earned his BA and MBA from Harvard, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, and an MD from Stanford. He also completed an internship in general surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
