Rebecca Kohler, MPH

KohlerRebecca Kohler is a seasoned public health practitioner who has held key leadership, management, technical, and advisory positions both in the field and in the US during her 20-year career. Kohler has hands-on practical experience working on HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, safe motherhood, and child survival programs in more than 20 countries across several continents, and she brings valuable expertise in such areas as program design, resource mobilization, strategic planning, behavior change communication, and training. Kohler joined IntraHealth in 1998 as a regional program manager for West Africa. As vice president for strategic development and communication, she oversees business development, fundraising, strategic partnerships, corporate communications, and knowledge services. Prior to joining IntraHealth, Kohler held positions with John Snow, Incorporated; International Planned Parenthood Federation Africa Regional Office; Family Health International; and AllAfrica.com. Kohler holds an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
