Patricia McCarthy has spent the majority of her career in the publishing industry where she has led a number of business units to new levels of profitability and market success. Earlier in her career, McCarthy worked in new business development for the Baltimore Sun Company where she was the first Director of the Company’s online news, information and transactional services division, then went on to become President and Publisher of the Company’s subsidiary magazine division. Prior to this, she served as an Editor within The Reader’s Digest Association Educational Division where she wrote and field tested programs for curriculum development.
Earlier still, McCarthy served as Publications Director at what has since become Family Health International in Research Triangle Park.
