Campaign to Support Health Workers in Africa

IntraHealth International is launching a partnership with Hope Phones and Medic Mobile to provide mobile phones to African health workers who offer maternal and child health services, including obstetric consultations, safe deliveries, family planning, and malaria and HIV prevention and treatment. Click here to donate a phone or learn more.

In the coming year IntraHealth will be partnering with Open MRS to train young African technology students to develop open source code for local public health needs and with Coded in Country to further advance the support of software coded in Africa by Africans.

We are working with a growing alliance of organizations to put the latest advances in open source technology into the hands of Africans to solve the most critical public health issues of our day. Let us know if you have a project or are an organization we should know about.
