Maureen Corbett, MIA
Maureen Corbett joined IntraHealth in 1988 and has served the organization in programmatic, technical, managerial, and leadership roles. Ms. Corbett began her professional life working on a maternal and child health and family planning project in Bangladesh. With IntraHealth, she has often collaborated with regional and country offices to assist host-country partners in designing and managing programs to improve health worker performance and extend needed health services. As vice president of programs, Ms. Corbett oversees the technical and program departments, advocating use of evidence-based interventions and lessons learned across projects and countries to maximize learning and expand IntraHealth's knowledge base within priority areas such as reproductive health, maternal and child health, and HIV/AIDS prevention and care. Ms. Corbett received the international 2003 Champion of Reproductive Health award from Ipas for her work in postabortion care. She received her MA from the School for International Training's Program in Intercultural Management.
