Mary C. Scott
Mary C. Scott has managed USAID-sponsored projects for 28 years. Her field experience extends to over 20 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Near East, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Scott joined IntraHealth in 2003 as assistant project director for the PRIME II Project, where she oversaw the programs and operations of IntraHealth’s four regional and 11 country offices. Subsequently, she served as the director of operations for the Capacity Project. As vice president for operations, Scott currently oversees the corporate functions of human resources, IT/IS, operations, travel, and office services. Prior to joining IntraHealth, Scott worked for 10 years for Futures Group International, where she was a senior scientist and directed the RAPID IV Project, a global project providing technical assistance on population policy and advocacy in 26 countries. She also worked for 13 years at RTI International, where she managed both global and bilateral reproductive health projects. Scott is an experienced facilitator of advocacy skills training programs, and she has mentored advocates for population and HIV issues in government departments and private-sector organizations.
