Jennifer Gloc, Travel Specialist

Jennifer Gloc is one of IntraHealth’s three travel team members who make employees’ trips to locations around the globe go smoothly. With IntraHealth since 2006, Jennifer provides country-specific information to travelers, arranges flights, car and hotel arrangements, and aids travelers in obtaining necessary visas. Many IntraHealth staff visit field offices in other continents, present project successes at international conferences, and meet with organizations and consortiums in other states and countries; the Travel Department is key in making all of this possible.

Jennifer likes the demands and fast pace of her work. “Even in the dullest moments, there is never a dull moment,” she says. And she credits IntraHealth’s work with helping her put her own life into perspective. “It’s hard to complain about your life when compared to the lives of many others around the world.”

Jennifer says she previously worked in meeting and event planning, and although she enjoyed organizing and seeing the results of a project’s work, she wanted to work for a company where her work would be more meaningful to her.

“For years, I worked with larger corporations and was burnt out with the amount of consumerism involved,” Jennifer explains. “IntraHealth was a breath of fresh air. I can go to work every day knowing, in some small way, that I am helping the greater good.”
