Eastern Caribbean

As part of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, IntraHealth worked to increase access to HIV/AIDS services in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This work supported each nation’s strategic priorities and was geared to reach the most at-risk populations in order to mitigate the spread of HIV. Priority program components included prevention, strategic information dissemination, counselling and testing and palliative and home-based care. As part of this effort, IntraHealth designed and implemented a strategy for scaling-up community-based counselling and testing.
