About Julie Solo

Julie Solo is an independent consultant in international reproductive health and is based out of New York City. She writes publications, conducts organizational effectiveness assessments, evaluates projects and assists with strategy development. Most recently, she has worked for organizations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the United States Agency for International Development, EngenderHealth and the Population Council. She has lived in England, Kenya and China, and has had a role in reproductive health projects across the globe. She studied international relations at Brown University and obtained a master's degree in public health from the University of Michigan.
