There are many global health organizations doing great
work in the world. Many of these are nonprofits who are solving the most pressing health challenges of our time—HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, preventable childhood illnesses and the risk of death during pregnancy and childbirth. IntraHealth International, a Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based organization in operation since 1979, addresses these challenges by working in developing countries to mobilize local talent to create sustainable and accessible health care.

IntraHealth to be honored Saturday June 14th, by the OBOJ Foundation, dedicated to supporting the open source community through fund and awareness raising events annually. Please join fun and family friendly event- with live music all day, the "best BBQ in the Triangle", about 20 minutes east of the Hwy 54/I-40 interchange, with the proceeds benefiting IntraHealth International’s OPEN project which seeks to apply open source technology to solve public health challenges throughout Africa.
IntraHealth prefers to receive undesignated gifts, allowing for the greatest flexibility in responding to the evolving needs and priorities of women and their families, but will also accept gifts designated to a specific purpose.
